Te recibiremos en casa, con vino y algo de tapear mientras nos conocemos un poco mas, a continuación podéis participar y aprender a hacer (y comer!) la auténtica paella Valenciana, o arroz del señoret (paella de marisco) platos tradicionales de la cocina Valenciana. Os enseñaremos los secretos de la preparación y los mejores ingredientes para cada tipo de paella.También podrás beber y picar algo mientras cocinamos la paella. Después nos la comeremos Todo esto bañado con vinos y cerveza de nuestra `terreta´ para conocer mejor nuestra gastronomía, y rodeados de un entorno ideal donde podréis disfrutar del jardín y piscina para pasar un día perfecto.

La experiencia sera, ver y aprender como se cocina una buena paella,en una casa con un exterior muy agradable ,acogedor ,con piscina para darse un baño en verano y tomar el sol en invierno.

Soy una Valenciana con ganas de enseñar al mundo nuestras costumbres culinarias, aprendi de mi madre a cocinar paellas ,todos los domingos nos reunimos la familia alrededor de la paella, me encanta dar de comer a la gente y verla disfrutar y aquí en casa sabemos muy bien como hacerlo, estoy rodeada de buenos cocinillas que han ganado algún que otro premio de paellas y que también les encantaría dar a conocer como pasamos aquí un día de reunión de amigos o de familia,degustando nuestros platos e incluso si alguien quiere ayudar y aprender la elaboración,estamos dispuestos a enseñarles nuestros secretos.
Sera un placer crear reuniones en torno a la comida,disfrutar de un baño o hacer la siesta.

It was the last minute booking (saturday night) for the sunday experience. Maribel was responsive and accepts the request. It happened on the first day of festival of fire so we were the only people participating. Yet, the experience was very welcoming and it really felt like visiting a close friend’s house. Maribel picked us up at the metro and even showed the local place around and later took us back to the metro. The Traditional way of making Paella with Maribel and friends was once-in-a-lifetime experience. Local bakery was visited and pumpkin and apple cake were bought then Maribel explained about the festival and even visited the local festival place -. Maribel took us to her and her friends’ summer house by car. The friends and her husband were welcoming. Jamon, cheese plate, muscles, bread, almond and olives were prepared with beer and wine while paella was prepared. I got to really know how to make paella and got to know very personal tips. Their communication was so thoughtful and my visit to Valencia and Spain for the first time became so warm and welcoming due to this experience. The hosting place was stunning and all hosts were so friendly. They definitely live the life which include Paella and their hospitality is special- I really could associate their life and cooking much more closely. I would definitely come back to this experience as having a such a cozy, welcoming lunch with lovely people were invaluable. Muchos Gracias!

The paella-workshop was amazing! Maribel picked us up from the station and drove us to her lovely house. We were staying the whole day around the pool, together with her daughter and family-friends. Everyone was so lovely!
We had the choice to learn every cooking-step of the paella OR chilling at the pool and just eat the home-made paella, which was made by Maribel's husband. (Funny thing we found out: they participated to a paella-competition for fun, and guess what, they won! Title: Best paella of Valencia)
Besides the paella, Maribel made some other snacks and a desert. Also, there was enough to drink. We played in the pool, listened to our own music and chilled all day. Also, Maribel gave us a doggy-back with all the leftovers.
Summary: It was a perfect experience, joining this beautiful family on their 'typical Spanish Sunday'.

Dieser Nachmittag war für mich und meine Eltern ein wirklich tolles und einmaliges Erlebnis. Maribel und ihr Mann sowie ihre Freunde ließen uns an einem Spanischen Familien Sonntag teilhaben. Wir fühlten uns vom ersten Moment an willkommen und zu Gast bei Freunden. Das Essen, die Gastfreundschaft, die Herzlichkeit und das ganze Ambiente waren einfach perfekt. Ich kann diesen Nachmittag jedem weiterempfehlen, der Lust auf einen authentischen, geselligen und sehr sympathischen Nachmittag hat. Es war ein einmaliges Erlebnis, das Lust auf mehr macht. If you are in Valencia and you are looking for some authentic experience, it a must do! The location where we prepared the paella was gorgeous, the tapas and the paella was very delicious and we had also very nice talk! I can just recommend it!! Everything was perfect!
