When you arrive, your mezcal tasting will be presented with the different bottles that will be poured and the plate of oranges to clean the palette between each taste. three different mezcal's will be presented and opened for your tasting.
In the beginning, we will talk about the history of mezcal and its importance in Mexican culture. We will present the different varietals available throughout the 8 states of Mexico currently producing mezcal
This tasting is a time to learn, ask questions and distinguish between the variety of agaves. It is interactive where customers can ask questions and many times results in laughs, and good times had by all.
We have music playing and the store is highly air-conditioned In order to keep our product fresh at all times. we offer wifi for those who want to use social media or take pictures to send to friends. we are also cuban cigar point certified and have an array of cigars for your enjoyment and pleasure.

We are Sayulita Wine Shop and passionate about our selection of artisanal mezcal and wines. I opened 3 years ago from an extension of my love for food and wine and have been serving customers at nearby Bistro Organico in San Pancho for 13 years organic and sustainable food, wine and spirits from local farmers and regional products. Isaias is a certified sommelier and very knowledgeable about the mezcal spirits. his ability to communicate in both Spanish and English make it a very pleasant experience

Educational and Interesting!!! If you're interested in learning all about mezcal from an expert then you'll love this experience. Our host wove together stories of the families who make mezcal with stories on the traditional usage of mezcal, the mezcal distilling process and the agave plant life cycle. We also learned about tequila. The artisanal mezcals we tasted were fantastic and we also learned how to properly taste mezcal - its nothing like tasting wine. Highly recommended!
