We’ll meet at a specific pre determined location in the Los Angeles area. I’ll set up the sketch or paint station of easels and relevant materials in a shady location . Moleskin sketch books if it’s pen and ink. I’ll show some examples of work and share strategies , techniques, and perform some quick demonstrations.
The guests will start the process and I will oversee the progress. The process is between 3-4 hours.
Other things to note
Feel at ease about your level of drawing or painting. This is for beginners who want to experienced the artists life outdoors . Wear comfortable shoes and clothes that may get a little dirty.

I’ve lived in downtown LA for 10 years and have sketched many scenes. I’ve exhibited in galleries and group shows in LA and sell my work on line, and have many followers on IG, @danielsauerbrey as well have had work published in magazines. Having worked as an architect I understand what it takes to draw or paint buildings and their complexities. I’m a very patient and easy going personality and comfortable working one on one or a small group.
