You will be picked up from a downtown Seattle location. After a quick twenty minute ride you will be guided through four tasting rooms at SODO Urbanworks.
Our guides are knowledgeable in the wineries and wines you will be tasting. You will also get a chance to speak with some of the winemakers as well as tasting room managers.
If you're anything like me you like some snacks with your wine and I won't leave you hanging. Snacks will be provide at some of the tasting rooms.
This tour is meant for beginners and experts alike. Don't let the fact you don't know anything about wines stop you. By the time you're done you will pick up a little knowledge and feel more comfortable around the whole wine tasting experience.
After the tour we will return you where we picked you up where if we've done our jobs right you'll be ready for a nap.

For over four years I have been taking large groups of my friends through various tasting rooms of Washington Wineries. After being encouraged by one of the winemakers I decided to start giving tours to people I didn't know! I love Seattle (and being a native of Seattle) and I love showing off this fun, newer area South of downtown Seattle.

I wanted to show off the SODO Urbanworks area because every time I'm there I have a great time. The tasting room managers and winemakers are fun and friendly.
We didn’t spend time with Anne but instead were with Cherylyn who was knowledgeable and very engaging. Her experience definitely helped with the educational aspect of the afternoon. The “snacks” are a bit light so be sure to get lunch before starting off.
Structure was our Favourite but all the rooms had something wonderful to offer.

A fun experience in the heart of Urban Seattle -- great tasting wines and you certainly got a feel for the love and dedication the wine makers put into crafting their wines. Nice service with driver to drive to/from and excellent local knowledge with our guided tour associate. Close interaction with wine makers and behind the scenes look at wine production (depending on season and timing) was a nice bonus! Structure Winery is a must visit -- plan ahead and eat before you go. Local pizzeria in Urban District is a must, great pizza!
