Meet our Cesarine Alessandra, Barbara or Patrizia at the local market
- FOOD SHOPPING
Visit either the local market or the traditional small food shops ("botteghe alimentari") with your Cesarina and discover the specialities of the Venice culinary tradition.
- BECOME THE MASTER OF 'CICCHETTI'
Enjoy a 'Cicchetti' lesson and learn how to make the famous ‘cicchetti’, bite-sized portions of the region’s produce, a delicious selection of the city’s flavours.
- A TAVOLA! (Sit down at the table)
Taste an authentic Venice 3-course menu including Cicchetti (the fruit of your labour :-)) pasta, and dessert with drinks included.
- CIN CIN (cheers!)
Enjoy a selection of red and white wines from local producers: our Cesarine select wines from their own region.
- ESPRESSO PLEASE!
Sip a real Italian Espresso as Italians do.
Sample menus:
1. Cicchetti, Bigoli with Venetian sauce, Esse Buranei
2. Cicchetti, Risotto with peas, Baicoli
3. Cicchetti, Bigoli with anchovy sauce, Zaletti

I will accompany you around the local market - Rialto Market - or small food shops right in the city centre. After the tour, we will go to my lovely home in Venice for the pasta cooking lesson followed by dinner.
The evening i spent at this cooking class, was really amazing. Barbara is a very lovely and heartwarming person, who is really alive and it’s beautiful to watch her, while doing what she loves. And also, she knows how to transfer that vibe to the people around. We prepared a wonderful Dinner. I had a lot of fun while learning new things about the italian kitchen, and it was absolutely fun to eat with her and her boyfriend. Apart from the nice food and the learning, you can have a lot of fun with them and they are really interesting people, able to tell you a lot about venice as well as about culture and art. I was really lucky to meet them and i can tell everyone, that they will surely feel the same after that experience! Best wishes!

Julia was a great host! She was knowledgable, fun, and catered the menu to our personal tastes. When we were at the market, we mentioned that the fruit looked good and pointed out one we had never seen before. Back at the house, Julia pulled a bunch of fruit out of her bag because she noticed us eyeing it. Attention to detail made the night so special and the food was delicious!

They catered perfectly to my dietary requirements and the food was delicious and beautifully simple, so easy to replicate!
