I will meet you at Porta Saragozza that is 5 minutes walk to my home. During this short trip I'll show you and tell you about the famous Portici that lead to the Sanctuary of San Luca.
Once in my home I'll offer you a welcome small tapas and a glass of Sangria.
That's when the lesson begins, not only will you learn how to cook Paella but also how to prepare a delicious
Sangria and Crema Catalana as a dessert.
We can then enjoy what we have cooked together.
The lesson is given in English, but I can also teach in Italian and Spanish.
Other things to note
- Please inform us about any food intolerance or allergy
- The location is on a raised ground floor with 13 steps. There is no wheelchair access or elevator.

I'm a paella expert chef. I acquired my knowledge working in the kitchen of famous restaurant ¨Don Pepe¨ in Puerto Rico. When I moved to Europe I improved my skills taking a paella course in Valencia, Spain. I have now been performing as a personal chef in Bologna for the past 5 years.
Paella and sangria bring joy and colour to my kitchen.

Virginia was wonderful. Not only did she teach me how to make a great paella, but she also made me feel welcome, and safe, as I was travelling alone in a foreign city. She and her husband were such a lovely and welcoming pair. I would love to repete this experience. Totally recommend this experience!

Assolutamente da provare! Virginia è una padrona di casa eccezionale, chef superba, e ti accoglie in una location bellissima! Atmosfera ed energia speciali! 5 stelle sono davvero poche. Stra-stra-stra consigliata! Non solo a chi visita Bologna ma anche a chi, come noi, a Bologna è nato e cresciuto. Virginia è bravissima a cucinare tanto quanto ad insegnare, trasmette in ogni gesto ed ogni parola amore ed entusiasmo. Virginia was such an awesome host and made us feel at home straight away! She shows such passion about food and takes the time to pass on her knowledge. We got our hands dirty whilst cooking and after that ate until we were stuffed. Loved every minute of it! Recommend!

She was very kind and friendly and taught me to understand easily.
Also, her family was very kind and gentle.
I was very satisfied with this cooking class.
Her house was very spacious and pleasant, and it was a wonderful experience.
It would be nice if she had more people on the cooking class.
