I will pick you up in Malaga city center with the van and we will go to the white village.
Once there, we will start the hike visiting the white village first and then taking the arab irrigation canal until the gorge of the almanchares river, in the heart of the Natural Park (2h30).
Along the path we will interpretate the landscape of the Natural Park of Sierra Alhama, Tejeda and Almijara: its geology, the animals, plants...We'll stop at the most beautiful view points to take pictures.
Once in the river, we will do a picnic and we will take a bath in the crystalline water of the river (not in winter).
In the way back (1h), it´s very likely to cross wild goats in the Natural Park and we will enjoy the sunset in the mountains.
Perfect hike to do an inmersion in the countryside and to understand the real Malaga.

Worth every penny - the views were absolutely stunning, Alfonso was a fantastic and friendly host who shared knowledge of the area, making the hike even more interesting. We are just gutted we couldn't do any more of his hikes whilst in Malaga!

Had a great time with Alfonso. The walk took in some beautiful scenery and we never felt hurried. The pace was leisurely and the terrain easy going. Alfonso was a genial host, very personable and knowledgeable about the local area and customs. We had a great afternoon in his company.

This was my first time doing an AirBnb experience and I’m hooked! Alfonso put together a great adventure, the sights were beautiful, and the day was Awesome!! Word of warning to folks: there are parts of the path that are close to the edge with little protection from falling - Alfonso was great ensuring everyone was safe and helping us one by one over the trickiest parts but be sure to heed the warnings as this walk is not for folks with a fear of heights or vertigo.

I had a great day with Alfonso and the rest of the group. Really nice and quiet village with a lot of flowers and plants and friendly people. The hiking is suitable for everyone, the sunset was gorgeous! We haven't done the swimming part, because it was January, but in summer would be really nice to get in this natural "jacuzzis". Oh, and we saw lots of wild goats on the way.Thank you Alfonso for the pleasant time together :)

This hike will give you different experiences: first the ride from Malaga to a typical white village, then a nice walk through this lovely village with narrow streets filled with beautiful plants and flowers.
