I'll welcome you with a welcome drink before we will discover an unbeaten area of Amsterdam: the Eastside. We will stop at 8 culinary hotspots where we will taste different locally-produced delicacies and hear explanations by the enthusiastic owners. After a brief introduction, we will go alongside the river Amstel to the old village of Ouderkerk. Here we'll taste traditional Dutch cookies in the 120-year-old bakery with a nice coffee/tea. We'll pass windmills alongside the picturesque Amstel river. Back to the Old East we'll take different foodie stops and short walks to learn about the area and the background of the Dutch delicacies. We will taste the Dutch 'haring': a raw fish delicacy, real Amsterdam 'Osseworst': a raw meat delicacy that originates from 17th Century and some fried Dutch specialties (sweet and savory). We will have local produced drinks: waterkefir and kombucha. We continue to a hidden gem to try local produced Jenever/liquor with real Dutch flavours. We’ll finish at a famous Amsterdam micro-brewery and try craft beers combined with locally produced cheese. You will not go hungry! :-)
