I'll take you on a street food and history tour of Obispo street, a bustling pedestrian thoroughfare, where you'll try new and unexpected flavors. These are places that you might miss on your own, a fruit juice stand, a hole-in-the wall hamburger place, and other surprises. You'll eat like the locals do, sometimes it's good and sometimes it's strange but its always 100% authentic. I'll tell you about the ethnic influences and history behind some of our favorite street foods and tell you about the difference between state and private owned establishments. In addition I'll give you some interesting information about the history of the area. We'll end the tour at beautiful Plaza Vieja where if you're lucky you'll get to eat a cool treat from a very charming guy. After the tour if you want we can go for a coffee or a beer, in Plaza Vieja you'll find some of the best in the city. You'll have plenty of information to know where to eat for the rest of your stay in Havana!
