Lake and field to table cooking session in National Park Lake Skadar. Traditional Montenegrin food cooking class in my garden/outdoor kitchen in a hamlet at Lake Skadar.
Here is the sequence of this authentic experience
1) We meet at our farmhouse introduction to our organic garden and harvesting what is needed for our cooking session. We will provide you directions to make your way to our farm.
2) Preparation of a saisonal traditional Montenegrin meal, either vegetarian or non-vegetarian. Please let me know if you require a special diet. The preparation process will focus on the main dish.
3) Enjoy your meal with our homemade natural wine...with unlimited time in our garden.

I am a graduated landscape and regional planner. For many years I am working in rural areas in Montenegro and the Balkans and suppport local initatives to promote their destination and food heritage. My family runs a winery specialized production of natural wine. My father in law is beekeeper and gladly will share his knowledge. We will visit a small village, way off the main tourist route, at the biggest lake in the Balkans. The cooking session takes place at family house, which was built more than 300 years ago.

A great experience! If you want a real ‘Montenegrin’ experience, this is a must. The food was fresh from the garden and we cooked the domestic traditional food. Very tasty and it felt like a team effort. You get an insight in the living of the Montenegrin people. Angelika is a really nice host whom speaks perfectly English. For new guests, have fun!
