We’ll meet in the most iconic spot in New Orleans, Jackson Square. From here, the best and most historic bars of The French Quarter are all within a stone’s throw.
We will travel back in time and visit a bar which used to entertain some of the most eccentric characters in New Orleans history.
Here, we will sample a famous drink of the city and learn how the city started. It’s no surprise New Orleans has a wide range of delicious cocktails, and next on this tour, we will visit one of my favorites and taste a drink so good you’ll forget there’s alcohol in it.
We’ll then sample the ‘official cocktail of New Orleans’: the Sazerac. One of the first cocktails ever invented, we will also touch upon the topic of how medicine influenced cocktails, too.
From here, we will sample another New Orleans invention, while exploring some of the oldest bars and restaurants in the French Quarter.
Last but not least, we will visit one of the classiest establishments in New Orleans to try one of the city’s most esteemed drinks, the Ramos Gin Fizz. You’ll learn why this drink is original to New Orleans and witness the craft in it. Please note quantity we will consume. Some portions are shared.

Inclusions: five cocktail samplings and a snack. Cocktails and portions vary throughout the tour. This tour features a couple of cocktails which include dairy ingredients such as eggs and/or milk.

We had Sophie and Butch on our cocktail tour for a bachelorette trip.
Sophie was an amazing guide and planned things perfectly to get the local taste of drinks, it's history and much more.
We covered the streets of NOLA like never before, thanks to all the knowledge share by Sophie and Butch. Sophie was very accommodative, made reservations at busy bars.
They are extremely friendly and interactive, by the end of the tour we were talking personal stories. Glad we had them as our guides and definitely recommend anyone to take this.
And oh, my favorite is the map Sophie shared after the trip, mentioning places and the amazing drinks we had on tour.

This cocktail tour is so much fun! We took the tour in the beginning of our stay in New Orleans, and it helped give us insight on which places to visit for the rest of our trip. We tried 5 delicious cocktails- a couple were unique drinks that we had never heard of! Also, I can’t say enough good things about our tour guide, Sofie. We connected with her right off the bat. She was extremely personable, bubbly, and very knowledgeable about the area. Her passion for the city definitely shines through the tour. She took us to some of her favorite spots and she had a great rapport with all of the bartenders. I would absolutely recommend this tour!

We did the cocktail tour with Sophie, and what fun! She took us to her local spots and we loved the ‘off the beaten path’ options she chose.
