Each activity you do with the horses builds upon the one before. Everyone’s pace/process is unique and there is no way to determine what yours will be until you begin. I let you lead the process at the pace you’re comfortable with. We always start with observations of the horses first. This gives us the opportunity to check in with ourselves as well, and how being in the presence of a horse affects our body, i.e are you feeling energized, fearful, calm, etc. After time processing our observations, we would then move to picking a horse that we connect with. Again, this can take a different amount of time for each person and there is never a set amount of time for this process. Next we would do the connection work with the horse and process how that affects you and the horse.

I have been a certified Equine Assisted Learning Facilitator for 10 years. I am an equine specialist in my field of work and helping people learn from horses is my passion. This work came from my love of horses and my love for people. It brings me great joy to see people and horses create healthy relationships that are good for the person and good for the horse. Horses have an amazing ability to help us learn about healthy connections. I work every day in sessions that provide this unique service to individuals, families and groups.

An outstanding and enlightening experience with a wonderful host. It was a lot of fun just interacting with horses so personally, and then having a reflective conversation with the host about relationships and emotions. I did not expect to learn as much about myself as I did through this experience!
