Depending on the weather, the first activity is to take you on a "jungle" trek where you will see views of the waterfalls and distant mountains and valleys. We have made paths and steps through our land, keeping everything as natural as possible. I will give some detailed explanation beforehand about the legend of the Ramayana, to put the area in context. The round trip walking/trekking time from our bungalow is about 30 to 45 minutes, depending on your age and level of fitness!
After the trek, I will show you round our garden, which is like a mini botanical gardens. I can explain some of our special plants and also give you a little (secret!) demonstration involving our pond. I'm a great bird enthusiast, so I can tell you about the many birds you might see and hear.
After visiting the garden, you can have lunch in the rooftop restaurant designed by my husband, which has a stunning view.
After lunch I can show you some of my husband's work with wood.
The order of these activities can be changed, depending on the weather and/or your wishes!

Other things to note
We do our best to keep our paths and steps as clear as possible, but it is wild nature, so you should always take care, particularly with young children! Don't be put off, it's a wonderful place!

My main qualification is enthusiasm and a joy for sharing something really out of the ordinary! I have learned a lot about our area, including the flora and fauna, which I want to share with our guests. My husband and I were so excited when we discovered views of the magnificent waterfalls adjoining our land in Ella. The area has recently been made a Wildlife Sanctuary. Now it is our goal to show this special place to our visitors from treks on our land and explain some of the history of the Ramayana legend. Maybe Princess Sita was kept captive somewhere here?!

體驗地點
You climb through paths and steps we cut through the jungle next to huge overhanging rocks and trees. Gaps along the way give views of the amazing waterfalls steeped in the Ramayana legend, where you can imagine the story unfolding in front of you. You trek over a rocky mountain stream to a sheer drop with spectacular views of distant mountains and valleys, then back down a different route. Then a garden tour learning about unusual plants.
Wir können diese Trekking Tour jedem empfehlen der ein außergewöhnliches Naturerlebnis haben will. Anne führte uns durch den Dschungel ca 20 Minuten zu den beeindruckenden Wasserfällen. Auf drei Ebenen kann man dieses Naturschauspiel geniessen. Wir waren nicht baden, denn nach der Regenzeit war zuviel Wasser in den Becken. Kanna unser Führer und Annes Assistent führte uns danach an einen besonderen Viewpoint, wo man little Adams Peak von einer Seite sieht. Danach wurden wir durch den kleinen hauseigenen botanischen Garten geführt. Anne erklärte uns viel über heimische Pflanzen und Tiere. Abschließend bekamen wir Lunch - das beste Hühnercurry das wir auf Sri Lanka serviert bekamen. In kleinen Tontöpfen mit verschiedenen Beilagen. Für Menschen empfohlen, die ausserhalb der Touristenpfade nach einem besonderen Erlebnis suchen!
