Come to my home in beautiful Topanga located in a serene canyon setting nestled in the Santa Monica mountains. I will take you through beginning weaving skills and show you creative tricks for texture using a bounty of natural fibers. You will design a unique-to-you, hand-woven wall hanging on a hand-made mini loom. Take home your piece to adorn your nest! With the skills you learn, you will be able to make more on your own.

Inspired by the beauty of the Santa Monica mountains, I took my 20 years of design and textile background and found my passion in weaving. As a fiber artist, I continue to hone my craft every day and have been asked to represent my fiber art in shows and lifestyle stores from Hawaii to California as well as private commissions. It's an honor to share my skills with others and see the amazing creations they come up with!
體驗地點
Pending weather, we will be weaving in the garden surrounded by Oak Trees steps away from trails. The sounds of nature will be our muse. If the weather is bad, we will move indoors to my studio.
Trudy is lovely! So much fun learning a new craft. She is a great teacher and very kind and patient. She has a love for what she does not only teaching but the art and craft itself. Recommend this to anyone looking for something different and off the beaten path for things to do in Los Angeles :)
