We’re starting our Santiago tour in the morning, the best time for enjoying the city and escaping the crowds on public transit.
From there, we will go to the neighborhood of La Alameda, a place that is popular with locals thanks to its magnificent architecture and mix of old and new city. Here in this neighborhood is where we will visit the famous Cafe Salvador, known for its quality and good taste, then discover places like the Plaza de Armas and discover what makes this city so great.
From there, we will go walking to the Mercado Central, starring some of the freshest produce in the country. Wander the aisles and watch how locals shop . Best of all, we’re going to eat some typical Chilean dishes! Oooooh yeah. Food is included.
Next, your Santiago tour will lead you to La Vega Central, a local market just on the other side of the Mapocho River. You can find everything you could imagine here, from souvenirs to healing potions and when we say everything.

This is an amazing tour and such a great introduction to Santiago. Valentina is very knowledgeable about the history, politics, good, and culture of Chile. She made me feel very comfortable through. The food tasting were thoughtfully chosen and definitively filling. One of the best tours in Santiago!

We went on the tour with Juan Pablo instead of Nicolas and had a great time. JP knew a lot about the city and had a very fun sense of humor and wit! Food was tasty and the pisco sour was on point 👌 would highly recommend this tour for the price!

The host Clara was incredible! She went out of her way to make us have a good experience. The activities are much different than what is listed on the website because of the protests so I would make sure you understand what is involved to ensure it’s what you want to do.
