體驗簡介
Mount Fuji is the highest and most beautiful mountain in Japan. For those who are in really good shape, the Fuji can be one day running trip.
This experience is only for the person with running skills: speed 6:30 min/km for more than 5 km in a row. Of course trail running or mountaineering skills welcomed!
Running Fuji is very special because not only it proofs your strength but also it is only for low season in June, September. Because of the condition of snow/ice and high seasons' crowdedness. (You know, its like a canned oil sardines.)
Starting point is Fuji 5 go me (5th station) bus stop, have a short meeting about the plan and safety guideline.
Running up and down takes 4 and a half hours. If there is a time we can add running around the summit crater (the crown) of Fuji (30 minutes).
I recommend trail running shoes (in case of snow, but much of time I am ok with city running shoes), a sets of normal sports wear, a light puff jacket and a wind breaker. If you need, change of cloths after you finished.
To reach for meeting point (Fuji Subaru Line 5th Station), public transportation is recommended but there is a car parking also.
*Transportation fee not included.
Other things to note
Ask me anything! (Including other mountain adventure in Japan!)
Best, with love, Haruko

Mount Fuji in low season with her original tranquility and beauty. Summit Fuji via Yoshida route. There can be snow in June on upper part.
Great experience, Haru is very knowledgable about mountaineering, hiking and has years of experience.
Whilst making our way up Mount Fuji Haru was speaking to locals who were also making their way up which helped with our climb. She has a good sense of awareness and provide enough breaks whilst ensuring a good pace is kept going up and down the mountain.

Undeniably unique and hardcore experience though we hadn’t made it to the top (8.5th station only) due to strong winds and volume of snow in the peak. But overall had fun on this unforgettable and wonderful experience. Two thumbs up to Haruko Susuki!
