We will start the tour from my family house which is located about 5 minutes from the park. There is a garage with all the tools and equipment to make reparations, pump our tyres or do some service on the bikes. When we start we will ride a little bit on the roads before we enter in the park, after which is mostly macadam trails. After that we follow the coast and explore the trails in the nature park Punta Corrente also known as Zlatni rt (Golden cape) forest park. The park has many macadam paths for both walkers and cyclists. The beaches are mainly rocky or with pebbles but ideal to sit in and have a picnic and look out at the beautiful blue waters of the Adriatic sea, there are high old trees, species like pine and cedar, places with nice views on the sea and many meadows where we can make stops and relax if we want to.
The adventure is subject to the weather conditions, if there's been some rain recently prepare yourself for some mud on the trails. Depending on the circumstances we might have to postpone or cancel the trip. In this case it will be refunded by Airbnb.
Other things to note
Bicycle riding experience is necessary for this tour. You don't have to be in very good shape, there are just a few up hills where you can walk with your bicycle if to hard to ride.

I grew up in Rovinj, as kids we were very active, always playing and seeking adventures. With my first bike, a BMX for kids I started to ride the streets of Rovinj. Back than we lived in the very centre and I could easily go anywhere I wanted. Since than I've got a mountain bike and explored the bike trails further from Rovinj. Today I still enjoy riding those trails, especially with my dog following, she has a lot of energy so she loves to run alongside me.

Zlatni rt (Golden cape) forest park was created in the period from 1890 to 1910 when count Georg Huetteroth edited the agricultural landscape by introducing many exotics of conifers.
Thanks to its decoration, Golden Rt has become one of the most famous forest parks on the Mediterranean. The project remained unfinished because Huetterrodt died in 1910 and Zlatni rt has become a protected forest nature park, intended for recreation and recreation.

Mateo is a great host and the experience was a lot of fun. Mateo led us to all of the best spots of the park and had excellent knowledge of the history of the areas he took us to so was able to explain it all. The bike ride takes you along the beautiful coast and we really enjoyed it. The park itself was beautiful and you should not miss this on your trip. I would 100% recommend this bike tour. Mateo was even kind enough to pick us up from our flat to take us to the bikes at his house. He is a kind and caring host with excellent knowledge of the area, making him the perfect host.

A great tour of a wonderful spot on the coast in Rovinj. Mateo was attentive to the weather, and rescheduled our experience when the conditions appeared concerning. His first thought though was to OUR schedule. Great value, bikes were well-maintained and sized. 5 Stars!

Mateo and Mara (his dog) were fantastic hosts. Mara is a very friendly and exuberant dog, was wonderful to see her playing in the sea. Mateo is a warm and friendly guy with plenty of interesting stories and fluent English. He gave us a great tour of a truly beautiful area with lots of trivia and points of interest along the way. He was also super attentive about how we were doing with the bikes and making sure we got lots of great photos. The tour was a highlight of our trip!
