Welcome to glimpse of Indian Cultural Tour.
As you maybe aware that Indian Culture has a wide variety within one country - speaking 32 dialogues and practicing different religious practices different from one another. The destination which I would love to show you is mostly in the suburb of Houston. Due the distance I suggest to meet in a coffee shop near the area and then I could take you to the venue. I will explain the cultural heritage of the place. I speak the native languages HINDI and Punjabi.
I will happy to answer any cultural questions you might have and will guide you like I have done when my family guest came to visit from all around the world.
This place is a traditional Hindu temple that is both an architectural wonder and a reflection of Houston's diversity. Soaring towers and distinctive arches crafted using Turkish limestone and traditional Indian architecture and engineering techniques create a breathtaking site.
If you would like I could also explain more about the different food places and suggest many different regional food restaurant in the area

Hi I am Ash originally from India but now very Texan. I enjoy exploring different aspects of Cultures around the world. I have traveled to many Countries in search for the same. I enjoy meeting people and always ready to help and answers any questions regarding the Indian cultural if they have any. I have been living in Houston for over a decade now and will be happy to let you explore the Indian places as a local.

We will visit one of the Hindu landmark My personal favorite is very beautiful Indian architecture buildings which will make you re think if you are visiting Texas or India. I will provide you a bit of history of the place and would be willing to take your memorable pictures at the place. I speak Hindi, and Punjabi as well so I would able to help if you have more questions.

I was visiting Houston for a conference and my mom came with me, as she’s wanted to visit the city for some time (we were both first-time visitors.) I was looking for a tour for my mom to do while I was at the conference and happened to find Ash’s tour listed on this site. Because we were in town during the week, Ash graciously accommodated my mom with a private tour after work. Ash worked with my mom to determine where they would go, making the tour very personalized. My mom thoroughly enjoyed going around Sugar Land with Ash—she is such a warm, kind and knowledgeable person!

This was a great trip to see amazing architecture and learn about a culture. The artwork would have been worth it by itself but there was so much more! Ash was perfectly charming and knowledgeable. She has a deep personal knowledge of the culture and the history of the temple. She made sure we saw and even participated in the rituals during the tour if we wanted to, which we are so glad we did! The staff at the temple were very gracious. In some of the activities, the men are separated from the women briefly but the other gentlemen actually showed my husband what to do and explained the ritual to him. This would be a great tour for locals or travelers! We’re from nearby San Antonio and have never seen a place of worship like this. We highly recommend Ash’s tour.
