It's time to enjoy a unique, fun, panoramic tour of Havana. First, let's do a walking tour around Old Havana, a living museum full of 19th, 18th, 17th and even 16th century buildings. History is flowing from every corner so make sure you keep your eyes open and you will be in for a treat. Visit all the main four squares that use to be the center of trading during colonial times. Also, we will make stops at some of the most iconic bars in Cuba, as a former bartender I'm a passionate about Cuban spirits, you would be surprised by how all of them are related with our history. After we are done covering Old Havana, we'll jump in a vintage American convertible car and cruise around the more modern neighborhoods of city. We'll make stops at different points of interest such as the Revolution Square, Havana's forest and cruise alongside the malecon habanero. We'll have a look at Vedado, the area where rich people used to live before the revolution, and learn about the big changes that happened and what they meant to people. The ride ends after one hour and in the same place it started, or wherever is more convenient to you.
I studied Computer Sciences at Havana's University and used to work as a bartender in the evenings. I found my new passion years ago, when I decided to become a tour guide and put to good use all the History lessons and the long walks I have taken around the streets of my beautiful city: Havana. I have been doing it for 6 years now and, everyday, I keep falling in love with my Cuba, it must be something about it. I personally believe being a tour guide is about exchanging with other people and make them feel at home, for that, I always try to be the best host. See you around! :)
A Cuban cocktail At some point, we'll stop at one of my favorite bars for a drink.
In Old Havana, we'll make stops at The Cathedral (a jewel of Cuban architecture), El Templete (the spot where the city was founded), the main squares, El Floridita and La Bodeguita del Medio (two iconic bars). In our cruise around New Havana, we'll visit, among other places, The Revolution Square, Havana's forest, Columbus cemetery (you will see the full extension of it) and Havana's University, where you'll learn about Cuban higher education.
最多可供10位年滿10歲的旅人參加。父母也可以陪同兩歲以下的幼兒參加。 Guests should be able to walk for up 3 hours, don't worry, it's mostly flat terrain and we'll make stops for refreshments, so there is no hurry.
Confortable shoes for the walking tour around Old Havana.
There is no hurry to finish the tour, you can take as much time as you need. If you have some troubles walking or you need to make stops for any reason, I'll be happy to wait for you.
