Explore the gardens of Versailles with us to make the most out of your trip to the massive 2000 acres of grounds. The tour is kid-friendly and will provide guests with a detailed outline of the glorious history of Versailles in a way that is easy to understand. The tour will start at the train station in Versailles across from a coffee shop and from there we will walk up to the front of the chateau for a glimpse of all the 17th century glory of France. (If you are booking the 17h tour then the meeting point will be Louis XIV tour but this will be communicated beforehand). An overview of the city's creation, the garden design and its inspiration, the 2000 acre domain, and the castle will be discussed and will be adapted to suit all ages. The tour will wander up to the front of the chateau and into the immaculate gardens for approximately 1.5 hours showing the guests the most meticulous parterres and detailing the history of the French royal court. Guests will have the opportunity to enter the chateau before or after the tour if they wish to purchase a supplementary entrance ticket. Customers who take the 17h tour are encouraged to see the chateau beforehand.
