We will meet in Urubamba town in the Sacred Valley, 60 min drive from Cusco. Let me know if you need a transport from Cusco. I can arrange our local taxi driver to pick you up (cost 80 soles) or you can take public transportation (7 soles). We start the day by driving to Ollantaytambo village. We are going to explore the town learning about tradition and history, visiting some of the local family homes, built by Inkas. Then it's time for an easy hike!. We are going to walk up to the Inka store houses on the "Pinkuylluna" mountain - don't worry, it's a beautiful easy uphill walk-. Then we head back to Urubamba to visit the colorful local market, you will find fruits you've never seen before and many varieties of potatos, only known in Perú. You'll learn to choose the ingridients to prepare a delicious "Huatia"- Ancient dish cooked with earthen oven- because we are going to cook it toguether. Finally, I will introduce you to my friends and in their beautiful country house is where we are going to cook the Huatia.
