This 1.5 hour follow-up lesson is designed for people who have previously taken at least one surfing lesson and would like to advance to an intermediate level. In this lesson we will work on progressing from riding the whitewater to riding the face of the wave. Our goal is to enable you to achieve the following: paddling into your own waves; proper wave judgment; dropping into the unbroken wave face and progressing to turning on the face of the wave. We will also advise you about proper equipment for becoming a proficient surfer.
I am a certified Surf Coach through ISA (International Surf Association), as well as certified and trained in Aquatic Rescue and Safety.
Other things to note
You can rent a surfboard and wetsuit from us if needed for 40.00, $15 for a wetsuit and $30 for a board. Carpooling is highly encouraged, especially on the weekends. Let us know if you have your own gear.

Thane was an incredible host for my follow-up surf lesson this past weekend! The description fits the experience perfectly, so I highly recommend taking at least one beginner lesson before booking this experience. With the benefit of Thane being so well connected in the surf community of Bolinas, I was able to meet other locals out on the water that also gave me a few pointers.
