Learn about Lisbon History and have a true sailing experience, on a very small group (max 4 of different groups / 6 if single group) in my large sailboat, BISA. After sailing, we return to port and relax on the boat, sharing our boat-made drinks and canapes. A true sailing experience means that we will navigate using only sails (not under engine on a sailboat...). So, we do not follow a fixed itinerary, it depends on the wind and tide, but that's the beauty of sailing! To master the wind to go where we want. We will sail in river Tejo and comment on Lisbon monuments. Our trip starts just close to the ancient city, so you will immediately see the riverside that matters. So that you sail comfortably with plenty of PERSONAL SPACE, we go on a VERY SMALL GROUP: max 4 guests / 6 if single group. (Boats this size usually carry 12 guests). Real local host experience: me, the boat owner, will be your skipper. Total time is 3.5 hours: Sailing is 2,5 hours + Drinks and canapes 1 hour. Welcome aboard and let's sail with the wind! Notes: - CLEAN AND SAFE certification. Ask freely about our safety measures. - Single guest: please contact me prior to reservation, so I can join you to an existing group. Thank you. - Time: for a different time, contact me. - Weather: if it rains or is unpleasant, I can cancel at no cost to you.
A 54 yr economist, worked many years as CEO, but at 50 I left the office life and now I share with others the beauty and the art of sailing. I sail for many years and own BISA, a large dark blue sailboat of 13.3 mt (43 ft) that I have skippered for thousands of nautical miles. BISA is a very spacious cruiser where you will immediately feel comfortable. I completely love my boat because it is so beautiful and is also a home to me; I spend a lot of time taking care of it. I am fully licensed and in compliance with Portuguese Law: - Official Tourism Registry: RNAAT 2337/2018 and "CLEAN AND SAFE" certification - Coastal Skipper license - 2 licensed crew members on board I offer a 15% discount for groups 4 to 6. Speak English, French, Spanish and Portuguese. For more pictures, see Bisa sailing boat tours lisbon
