I'm a philosophy teacher at The Sorbonne University and also co-founder of La Pause philo, a website dedicated to everyday philosophy. I see philosophy as a lifestyle anyone can enjoy.
We'll embark on an intellectual journey while exploring places frequented by the philosophers of yesterday and today. Meet me at a café in Quartier Latin, home to Parisian academia. We'll take a personality test developed by Proust to get to know each other and begin a stimulating discussion on the philosophy of travel. We'll then visit an iconic antique library, where we'll have special access.
Notebooks and pens will be provided to jot down thoughts. All you need to bring is an open mind!
Coffee, tea, hot chocolate
A notebook and a pen
To start, I will meet you at Café Rostand, a parisien classic café near the Jardin du Luxembourg. To continue the discussion, you will leave the café and walk through the Quartier Latin, ending at my favorite place when I was a student, the Mazarine antique library.
