** This tour is weather dependent, I reserve the right to cancel due to weather (and will give you as much notice as possible).** Together, we will explore a unique and quirky neighbourhood in Vancouver - Kitsilano. I will share fun historical tidbits as I show you around my beautiful neighborhood. Named after indigenous chief, August Jack Khatsahlano, Kitsilano's hippie history has timeless landmarks like the Naam restaurant, the Peace House, plus some breathtakingly beautiful spots by the ocean that only locals know about. Greenpeace was founded here and it was haven during the counterculture movement (1960s/early 70s) for anti-war resisters, musicians and hippies of all kinds. I will guide you down West 4th ave (also known as Rainbow Road) and I'll introduce you to some lovely locally owned wellness businesses...delicious food samples and relaxing shoulder massages included! We will end our tour at Kitsilano Beach for a private ocean air customized yoga/meditation class adding in elements of relaxation and energy healing. You will leave feeling renewed, refreshed, nourished - and in awe of the mountains and sea. If you're looking for a fun local experience that delights the senses, you just found it! Feel free to reach out if you have any questions, creating beautiful and memorable experiences is my passion!
