What about the class? We teach you how to make a Maltese 3 course meal including Ftira biz-Zejt (Crusty Maltese Bread topped with traditional toppings) or Kapunata (caponata served with Maltese Bread) bragjoli from scratch, fried beef or tuna "pulpetti", beef filled marrows/aubergines, traditional pies. For a group of 4+ persons we can cook the famous Maltese Rabbit as main with spaghetti Rabbit sauce as Starter. As for dessert we'll prepare a lovely Maltese Trifle or a warm Bread pudding with tea/coffee. At the end you eat your lovely food creations, accompanied by our favorite regional wine. The experience is hands-on and you can learn some valuable cooking skills and tips. Are you ready?

Hello guys! I am Elaine from Malta. I love eating and am passionate about food and excited to communicate my knowledge. I've been cooking homemade Maltese recipes since I was young, learning all the secrets from the greatest chefs in the world: my Grandma and mother. They taught me the importance to choose the best local products to cook typical dishes with great taste. I also like travelling, meeting new people, discovering different destinations, their culinary traditions and tasting food as much as possible! So join me to discover the secrets of the Maltese family culinary tradition. I'll teach you how to prepare delicious old Maltese dishes, such as fried beef and tuna "pulpetti", the widely known "bragjoli", the famous "qarabli mimli" or the refreshing Maltese Trifle.
We shall be cooking and eating together these lovely dishes in my Kitchen, at my house - a 1950s townhouse set in the old village of historical Zejtun :)
