Aliona is extremely knowledgable about everything related to wine industry. During our wine tasting experience she made sure, food is perfectly matching the wine and helps us to feel those different shades of taste. I love wine myself and try to learn more and more how to define and search for specific tastes through wine tastings or other experiences - thanks to Aliona, now I do have more knowledge for sure! Alena does an amazing job walking you through a wine tasting of different wines (in my case we had Italian, Californian and Russian). She shows you everything from the different stemware for different wines, to how wines get their flavors and aromas, to ways to really appreciate wines from across the world. I really enjoyed tasting and discovering the different tasting notes, and her knowledge of each wine we tasted was impressive. It really set’s this experience apart from an ordinary wine tasting and makes it extraordinary. Alena’s English is excellent, the conversation was extremely engaging, and you can really see her passion for wine. I have to say this was a real highlight to my trip to Moscow and I would highly encourage anyone to definitely do this experience, I am pretty confident you will enjoy the wine tasting as much as I did.

Amazing experience all around. Alena is extremely knowledgeable about all denominations of wine, and an excellent teacher with very clear English. We tried a wide variety of Russian, French, and Italian wines, all while learning about what makes each unique. Could not ask for a better host than Alena!

Alena is a great expert. The event went great. There was a comprehensive story for every wine that was tasted. Would recommend to those who are looking for an unusual experience in Moscow and who would like to not just taste wine but get to know the history behind it.
