Doors open at 7:30 pm commencing a half hour of cocktails and fellowship. Followed by a family-style dinner that invites a curated group of people to discuss varying topics ranging from current events and world issues to relationships, music, travel, and culture. The dinner table serves as a catalyst to bring people together, through genuine social engagement. We truly believe that the literal act of breaking bread can bridge the gap between cultural differences. The intent of this event is to promote healthy conversation and celebrate the nuances of ethnic, gender and professional diversity through an open dialogue format while breaking bread with one another.
Hailing from Houston, Texas, Chaz first learned to cook by hanging by his mother's side and observing her every move in the family kitchen. Eventually relocating to Harlem, he began a career in hospitality where he continued to hone those very same down home skills. He now curates dinner parties where he fuses the spices of Cajun cuisine, his southern soul food roots and the artisanal culinary skills he's gained in NYC.
