On our tour, we will stroll through the city and stop on most importan historic sites, find out local secrets, learn about history and traditional jewelry. One of our stop will be at the open market called Gunduliceva Poljana where early-morning traders sell their homegrown products like seasonal fruit, olive oil, vegetablkes, and traditional snacks and drinks. Discover and learn how our tradition is still alive in stone town and how it is knitted in our modern lifestyle. It is interesting that this market from its initial green market purpose becomes one huge open-air Restaurant in afternoon and evening hours. Join me for a walk and talk about our history and heritage and try some local snacks :)
Hi, My name is Paula. I am born and raised in Dubrovnik. My town is my passion, and if this is your first visit to Dubrovnik I can guarantee it won't be the last. I am involved in tourism since I was 15. I worked with my father in family company, guiding tours to nearby islands. Something that was just a summer job turned into career. I studied journalism and tourism, but my love for history and communications won, so I became a licensed guide. I specialized in small groups, I think that you shouldn’t just see Dubrovnik, you should experience it.
At our stop at Green Market you will have an opportunity to try homemade local snacks: arancini, brustulani mjenduli and sun…
