An award-winning artisan designer, I focus on traditional silk-screen printing and handcrafted wallpaper. My work has been featured in the book, Makers of East London.
Once you’re settled into my converted Victorian factory space and we've gotten to know each other, I'll dish knowledge on traditional wallpaper craft skills and how to create a repeating design by hand. Moving on, I’ll show you how to expose an artwork onto a silk screen and screenprint it onto a length of paper, like one of East London’s most famous designers, William Morris.
Guests should wear sensible shoes and tie hair back.
Snacks Fruit and biscuits.
Drinks Water, coffee, and tea will provided during our crafting. Enjoy a beer from the brewery afterwards too.
I will take you to my studio in the heart of London's creative district, Hackney Wick, a thriving and lively warehouse district filled with artist studios, galleries, and night spots on the edge of the London Olympic Park. Before goodbyes, we’ll toast your craftsmanship at a local brewery.
