You’ll arrive to the welcoming yet stylish cottage for tea & biscuits, relaxing in to the session & getting to know each other with a short introduction. We’ll move on to the presentation where I’ll teach you specific points on the relationship between a person’s mindfully designed environment and the positive impact this can have on their wellbeing. With this in mind, you’ll then be asked to create a vision board for a light hearted interior styling challenge you’ll be set with the props provided. Feel free to bring your own if you have something you’d specially like to use. You’ll be using up lots of creative energy during these activities so we will serve refreshments throughout, including mini sandwiches & dessert bites. This interactive & engaging workshop experience is designed to be sociable, fun and inclusive. We encourage you to give it a go and you never know - you may meet many like minded creatives that you would like to stay in touch with, widening your network of contacts. The opportunity is there to take as little or as much as you wish from the day but above all we hope you enjoy it and have some cool Instagram-worthy digital photographs to take away with you!
I produce the flatshot photography for Interior Design company Colefax & Fowler across their global websites which I love because it’s creative, hands on with instant tangible results. I have extensive knowledge & experience in the arts & creative industry, qualifications in Art A-Level, History of Art degree, Photography GCSE, CPD specialist creative courses/workshops and a KLC Interior Design certificate. Having worked in Experiential Marketing & Events for over 20 years, my passion lies in the projects I’ve completed solely focused on design, decor, look & feel of a venue transforming interior/exterior spaces to create an aesthetic & atmosphere according to the client brief, on small & large budgets. This has led me to Interior Styling - I’d love to show you tips to help you produce your own images for your portfolio or social media.

We’ll conduct our workshop in our traditional Kentish cottage set in an AONB, views of the green fields beyond & sounds of nature. The house is newly refurbished, styled with a cosy, welcoming, modern-rustic & naturalistic design thread throughout. The concept encapsulates how a mindfully constructed environment can bring about feelings of wellness & balance. Many have commented there’s ‘a nice feel to the venue & location’ - see for yourself!
