The wine experience at our vineyard is about going beyond the world of a large industrial complex direct to a private, family business. I have a limited production red wine - as it includes wine from our oldest vines of over 100 years - softened by the gentlest of exposures to French oak barrels and a family port tawny of 40 years age. In the spirit of helping our community, we also include a white wine from a neighbouring producer. We include a selection of local food produce to partner with the wine tasting experience. Through sharing our produce, we hope you share our place in the Douro.
The Douro in Portugal is my home. It has been my family's home for generations. I acquired my knowledge of the cultivation of vineyards, olive trees and wine-making alongside my father. Today, as the next-generation custodian of our tradition I have the pleasure of reintroducing high quality, limited production wines including the launch of a new label.
Cheese and local charcuterie
Our limited production red wine (old vines 100 years+), tawny port (40 years age) and white wine (local producer)
We hold our tastings in the cellars (initially built over 200 years ago) initially used by my father to house the storage of wines. The cellars are dressed for use for our events (we now share utilise production and storage facilities off-site).
Just bring your good selves - we do the rest ..
This experience is all about trying good wine, understanding the region, its wine history and ultimately to have fun. My intention is not to be technical on the wine process.
Intimate and unique wine experience
