We will meet at Kangaroo Point where we will introduce you to the pedal-assist electric mountain bikes. The tour takes us from Kangaroo Point Cliffs Boardwalk along the river and up over the spectacular Story Bridge where we take the lift down to the newly built Howard Smith Wharves. Here we stop for a coffee and a chance to have a short walk around the Wharves and/or a walk along the floating walkway, Brisbane River Walk. Back on the bikes, we peddle towards the city through Eagle Street Pier and the lush City Botanic Gardens and along the river towards Toowong. Leaving the river we head towards Mt Coot-Tha, the highest peak in urban Brisbane. At JC Slaughter Falls picnic area we will start our bushland accent on the Mahogany Trail (a 3m wide dirt trail). At the top we will stop at the Mount Coot-Tha Lookout to enjoy the fantastic view of Brisbane City. Back on the bikes we will meet up with the Citriodora Trail (another 3m wide dirt trail) that links to the back of the Brisbane Botanic Gardens - a 56-hectare, subtropical botanic garden. From here we will head back to the river bike path towards the city and crossing the river to meet up with the Gallery of Modern Art at South Bank. Cycling along the river boardwalk and bike paths of South Bank you will get a view of the bustling South Bank Parklands and Streets Beach, then returning to our starting point at Kangaroo Point.
