In the heart of Barcelona Old Town, you'll be able to take a journey through Spanish and Catalan Gastronomy paired with exquisite Olive Oils. To start off, we will go through some facts about the world of Olive Oil. You will be able to learn what makes a good extra virgin olive oil and we will debunk some myths & legends about this precious liquid gold. As a Sommelier of olive oil, I will show you how to properly taste it in order to analyze its rich organoleptic properties. We will then enjoy a delicious meal combined with artisanal Olive Oils that will enhance each of the food flavours. Be ready to enjoy a full meal consisting of 5 delicious tapas + paella + dessert + drinks. Through the different dishes, we will explore the uniqueness of Spanish cuisine and you will get to know the origin of some of the most famous dishes of this amazing culture.
I am the co-founder of a revolutionary Spanish Olive Oil brand, and a certified Olive Oil Sommelier by the International Culinary Center of New York. I am a foreigner married to a Spaniard. After several years living in Spain, I have fallen in love with Spanish and Catalan gastronomy, up to a level that has urged me to quit my Corporate career and chase my dream in Olive Oil Food Pairing.

The Olive Oil tasting and the meal will be held at a local Restaurant located in one of the oldest areas of the city. This building still keeps some of its original stone walls from the 11th century and an outstanding main door which is more than 500 years old. The place is very cosy and the new decor fuses perfectly with the original essence of the building.
