We'll meet early, because that's when the birds are most active. Also, the absence of traffic allows us to hear the different birds. We'll do a loop walk around Delta Ponds and spot as many migrating birds as possible. Option to extend our viewing on the North Bank Trail (multiuse). Binoculars, 8 X 32, will be provided or bring your own. Photographers should bring their own equipment. Host will assist in identification of species and hiding places! We'll walk about 2 miles on a crushed rock surface.
Binoculars 8 X 32 magnification. Variety of "bird books".
Delta Ponds will be primary. This is an easy trail with a crushed rock surface. Bridges in the Pond loop trail can be slippery, so shoe selection is important. Depending on what we see at the Pond, we can cross the bike bridge to the North Bank of the Willamette Bike Trail, also a good birding stop during migration. We'll need to warm up at the end of our tour, so we'll retire to the coffeehouse for a warm drink and to compare notes
最多可供3位年滿14歲的旅人參加。 No dogs on this trip - we want to sneak up on some birds that are close to shore.
你需要提供一張與你身份證明文件上的相片相符之相片。 以便Airbnb確認是次體驗的參加者。 你只需進行此步驟一次。
Dress in layers, include gloves, hat with a brim and shoes that grip. Top it off w/ a rain jacket - just in case!
The migration season begins way earlier than WE are ready to be standing around outdoors! While the trees are bare you can have a great time spotting birds, even if you have never tried before. Cautions about layering, shoes and rain gear are to enhance your morning experience.
