Peaceful cabin located in the beautiful hills of Alaska. Close to town but far enough away to feel the Alaskan experience. Perfect area to view Alaska’s breathtaking Northern Lights. Full kitchen and full private bathroom. Very roomy with one queen bed, a full/twin bunk bed and a futon couch. Sleeps 5 adults or 4 adults & 2 children. Approximately 15 minute drive from downtown Fairbanks. The driveway to the cabin may require a vehicle with 4 wheel drive and winter tires in the winter

We are located in Goldstream valley about 9 minutes from Fairbanks. It is a quiet get away spot surrounded by birch trees. Life is simple here. The bathroom is an outhouse - common in Fairbanks. We have a banya sauna for bathing. Running hot & cold water inside cabin. A store & laundromat with showers 1 mile away. Ivory Jacks restaurant & bar 1 mile away, Sam's Thai 3 miles. Great northern lights viewing! Close to hiking trails & bird sanctuary. Our home is a 4min walk from cabin.

You’ll likely see squirrels, birds, possibly a frog! If you're lucky you might catch some Northern Lights.

You will not want to miss, a stay in a one of a kind cottage on beautiful acreage located in the heart of Fairbanks with two shared hot tubs and a barrel sauna.

This small cabin has everything needed for a safe, quiet and comfortable home base while you visit Fairbanks. *** Please note that there is a half bath -- a sink and toilet, NO TUB or SHOWER! *** ** At times during the winter, AWD or 4WD is REQUIRED. To avoid the steep part of the driveway, there is a parking space 100 feet away from cabin. An extension cord for the headbolt heater can be supplied, if needed.
