Private Cabin, Black River Lake

Unwind at this lakefront retreat. The cabin is very private and comfortable. It is an excellent spot for swimming, boating and sunsets. There are 2 SUP's, a double kayak, a single kayak, and lifejackets. No fires or activities in the woods until Oct 15 unless the NS gov’t lifts the present restrictions! Note: The cabin is well insulated and is heated by wood stove alone. If interested in booking between Oct. and May you must be proficient using a wood stove. Please message if this is the case.

Birch Burn Retreat

Birch Burn Retreat, a former 19th-century church, offers a tranquil escape with forest walks, hammock relaxation and firepit nights. It has electricity, heat pump, wifi, and a simple kitchen with a mini fridge. Accommodations include double/queen beds for four adults or a larger family with camp cots. Essential facilities include portapotty, wash station, and fresh water. Dogs are welcome. Enjoy the secluded beauty of Birch Burn Retreat. Due to provincial ban, fires not allowed until ban lifted

Wilkies Cove Boathouse

This new cottage that is inches away from the Lahave River. You can enjoy the deck , swim, fish, kayak, or just sit back on the dock and watch the Eagles and Osprey dive for fish, Seals bask in the sun on the nearby shoal. You are just minutes away from Risser's Beach, Cresent Beach and Green Bay, Hirtle's Beach where you can hike the beautiful Gaff Point ( 2 hour hike).You can also take a 10 minute drive to the famous town of Lunenburg where the Bluenose calls home port. 1 hour from Halifax.

This property features a 6 person hot tub only meters from over 100 ft of pristine lake front. There are 3 bedrooms with comfortable sleeping for 6 people and room for a couple of children on a pull out couch. There is a full kitchen, laundry, and 3 PC bath with shower. A raft, canoe, paddleboards, kayak, two outside hosting decks and a lovely hammock are waiting for you!

This newly constructed Main Street cottage is steps away from all the main attractions, while also being set back from the road enough to give guests a private and tranquil place to retreat at the end of the day. We are just across the street from Saltbox Brewery, with a beautiful patio, frequent musical guests and visiting food trucks. The cottage itself is an open and breezy ,featuring French doors, rustic details and a cozy wood stove- making it suitable for getaways all year long!

Middle Lake Retreat *with hot tub*

My cottage is very modern and unique; it sits on a private 5 acre lot surrounded by woods overlooking Middle lake with stunning sunrises. Enjoy being engulfed by nature with the comfort of everyday amenities including a hot tub and even an arcade with over 800 retro games! The dock and canoe at the lake are available for use during the summer months but will be removed in October until spring. Ski Martock/Ontree, Bent Ridge Winery are within a 10min drive from Chalet Hamlet.
