Spillway Cabin’s (Brand new!) West Cabin

The Spillway Cabins are new construction with new everything! Our little slice of heaven is yours to explore and enjoy. Each cabin(west and east) have 2 br/2bth, hot tub, gas grill, Starlink internet, large flatscreen TV’s, fully stocked kitchen, and fire pits! From the south side of the cabins you will find a pathway that will take you through our 7 acres of woods and down to a lakeside pergola that has comfortable outdoor furniture, a bar, and view of our beloved Centralia Lake and spillway.

Welcome to The Shoe Inn! You'll be at the center of town within walking distance to all the places you need to be: banquet halls, five bars, restaurants, Wessel's grocery store, ice cream shop, church, hardware store, and community parks. Forget your worries in this spacious and serene space. Drive down the lane to a secluded 3 bedroom home newly furnished. Enjoy yourself in an open concept floor plan where there is lots of room to spread out. Spend your evenings in the living room or the family room that has a fireplace. From the family room you can step out on a deck and enjoy the view of the pond. We are located 8.5 miles from Vandalia where there are historical landmarks, great restaurants, and quaint shops.

Waterfront Cabin•Boat Dock, Fireplace&Beach Access

The cabin sits in the trees along beautiful Lake Sara. The cabin offers a quiet place to relax and unwind. You can bring your kayaks, paddle boards or trailer your family boat along for some fun tubing and skiing on the lake. The dock allows for the boat to be left in the water till the end of your stay. The Marina, Pinky’s (waterfront restaurant), Rusty Reel (bar below Pinky’s ), Cardinal Golf Course, Lake Sara Campground and Lake Sara Beach are all a short walk from the cabin!

Modern Loft in Historic Downtown

Lincoln’s Loft is close to everything making it easy to plan your visit to downtown Vandalia. This loft offers a bedroom, full kitchen and bath, dining room, living room with a pull out sofa, and large smart TV. This loft also offers beautiful views of the oldest State Capitol in IL and is within walking distance to many restaurants, bars, and local shops. It is located on the 3rd level and will require you to climb 2 flight of stairs. For events please contact the host!

Located only 8 miles from historical Vandalia and 3 miles from Interstate 70 you will have easy access to fine dining, unique shops, and local attractions.

Bev's Country Cottage

A small quiet cottage off the beaten path, located only minutes from Newton Lake Fish and Wildlife Area. This is a great place for hunters, fishermen or just someone that wants to get away from the city. It has exactly what you need to enjoy a long weekend full of the great outdoors. As hosts we want our guest to enjoy their stay so we are available to help with anything.

The 8th Hole

Enjoy a quiet country setting stay, on the edge of town. Only 2 miles from interstate 70. This is an upstairs luxury apartment with steep stairs to the entrance. It can accomodate up to 4 people comfortably. Vandalia has lots to offer. The historic Old State Capitol where Abraham Lincoln once visited , a walking trail in Rogier Park and beautiful Vandalia Lake.

Country home

Forget your worries in this spacious and serene space. Starry skies and beautiful sunsets makes this place extra special. There is a huge yard to run around and play in or nice to sit by a fire and relax. Less than ten miles away is boat access to Illinois largest lake. A little farther than that you can have beach access to the same lake.

Country Farmette

A quiet country setting, dark enough to see the stars, but not far from town with everything you need! Come make yourself at home! Need a flexible check in or check out time, ask…we’ll accommodate that if it fits the calendar! We offer late checkout of 6PM on Sundays for an additional $40 if you make arrangements with us to do so.
