The Ames House - Close to Adventures on the Gorge!

INSIDE THE NATIONAL PARK. Disregard the "1 hour drive to New River Gorge National Park and Preserve" You can be at the park's best hiking trail in 5 minutes! The Ames House is an authentic company house from the booming coal mine era in WV that has been completely remodeled to fit anyone's modern needs. Experience a part of WV history that is conveniently located within walking distance to one of America's biggest adventure resorts. A short drive across the NRG Bridge puts you in Fayetteville.

Downtown Fayetteville Retreat • Hike, Raft, Climb

Experience the incredible outdoor recreation of Fayetteville - recently renovated 3br/1ba near the heart of town: 2 blocks up to downtown (Pies and Pints, Waterstone, Wood Iron cafe) or 2 blocks down to Firehouse BBQ and Maggies Pub. Or cook at home in the redone and fully equipped kitchen. 10 min to trails, rock climbing, mountain biking, and rafting! Kaymoor Mine is a few minutes from town and provides great hiking and history. *One pet (max) is considered on a case-by-case basis for a fee.*

With a convenient location and charming interior, The Zelek House offers its guests a comforting, cozy stay. As a tribute to locals who lived and loved well in their homes for many decades, The Zelek House embodies a sense of family and warmth within its walls. Enjoy the original hardwood floors, a few of Ms. Zelek's pieces of furniture, and other relics to honor our local people and past. The Seed is inspired by nature in design, its rooted in a calm residential area in downtown Oak Hill WV. Only 12 miles drive to New River Gorge National park. Less than a 5 minute drive to Adventures on the Gorge, Swiftwater General Store, and the American Alpine Club Climber's Campground. A 5-minute drive into Fayetteville over the New River Gorge Bridge. Enjoy your morning coffee or evening nightcap on the front or back porch and relax after a day of adventuring around the New River Gorge National Park.

Cute 1-BR stone cottage close to NRG

When visiting the New River Gorge National Park and Preserve, stay at this quaint stone cottage less than a mile off of Route 19 in downtown Oak Hill, WV. Things to Note: This little cottage has skylights upstairs, so light floods into this space from sunrise to sundown. Also, the mattress is firm. Finally, the hot water is provided via a tankless hot water heater, which has been known to cause water temperature variability.

Quaint home among the hills, conveniently located

We are minutes away from many of the major attractions in the area including: rafting companies (i.e. ACE and Adventures on the Gorge, and River Expeditions), hiking, shops, and restaurants. We are located within the city of Oak Hill so no crazy backroads or surprises : ) Relax on our back porch, around the firepit, or inside in the air conditioning after a great day of having fun!
