The Pod on the Hill

Situated approx.2.5 miles outside the village of Port Ellen, the POD offers peace, quiet and relaxation after exploring the distilleries and the joys of the Island. Port Ellen and Laphroaig can be seen from the POD which overlooks Kilnaughton Bay. The path to the three distilleries on this side of the Island starts in the village, taking you first to Laphroaig then Lagavulin , finishing at Ardbeg where delicious food is available. Our stylish island hideaway is located on the shores of Davaar Island… a beautiful wooden cabin ideal for those wanting to experience a sense of solitude, be close to nature and enjoy total privacy… whilst still enjoying some luxurious touches and comfort. The Bothy has been hand built, with sheep wool insulation and oak framed double glazed windows and doors. Barnacle overlooks the sea and is thoughtfully designed to make your stay with us as comfortable as possible whatever the weather!

Tangy Lodge is located right by the coast, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind for the whole family. Just a 10 minute drive from Campbeltown and 1 mile away from Westport beach (famous for its fantastic surfing), the area is known for its traditional whisky distilleries, outstanding scenery and the classic song "Mull of Kintyre". The lodge is also ideal for a golfing getaway, with 5 courses nearby and Machrihanish being known for having the best opening hole in the world.

The Wee House

The Wee House is a one bedroom seafront cottage looking onto Port Ellen. Sleeping up to 4 guests with a sofa bed (full size double) in the living room. Listing price is for 2 guests sharing the bedroom. If the sofa bed is required for bookings of 2 guests please let us know as there is an extra charge (£10 per night). The cottage is within walking distance of local shops, pubs and restaurants and near to the distillery path taking you to Laphroaig, Lagavulin and Ardbeg.

Sea Breeze East - open fire & views of the Clyde

Located in the north Arran village of Lochranza, this house is an ideal jumping off place for hiking, visiting Arran’s attractions or for a day-trip to Kintyre. By day, enjoy watching the yachts come and go and catch sight of some of Arran’s wildlife. In the evening, cozy up in front an open fire after taking in one of Arran’s long sunsets. Please note the property may not be suitable for children under 5 and I don't provide any baby/child equipment (eg stair gates).

The Bothan

Relax in this calm, stylish space on the Isle of Kerrera and explore the beautiful and wild landscape. The ideal island getaway for couples or lone adventurers. Abundant wildlife such as otters, sea eagles and beautiful wild flora can be discovered as well as historic sites such as Gylen castle, all the while surrounded by breathtaking views. The island is easily accessible by the nearby Calmac passenger ferry from Gallanach, near the mainland town of Oban.

Alma Cottage

Well equipped one bedroom converted workshop right next to Lochindaal with open plan living/dining area and kitchen, log burning stove, television and free wifi. Bathroom - wc, sink and with an electric shower. Please note when trying to locate us, maps may take you to a group of houses on the opposite of the road to where our accommodation is. We are located on the sea side of the road.
