spacious, one-bedroom self contained walkout basement apartment. (Enter through the private entrance into the necessary comforts for an ideal stay on the bank of the Grand River in historic Fergus, Ontario. A short walk to downtown Fergus and nearby walking trails. A five minute drive will bring you to downtown Elora to explore many shops and restaurants. Within a five to 10 minute drive enjoy more beauty of the Elora Gorge or Quarry . Bellwood lake and Cox Creek Winery 10 minute drive.

Broken Silo

Built in 1867, our attached carriage house has been renovated into a studio apartment. It has a private bath, complete kitchen, sitting area, in-floor heat, coffee and tea. We are located 7 kms south of Elora, 10 kms west of Fergus and 15 kms north of Guelph in the hamlet of Ponsonby. The apartment has a king size bed and a smart TV. No Pets or Smoking. Longer term rentals are available at discounted prices. We have honey bees, chickens, pigeons and a dog named Penny on the property.

Enjoy the spacious king bed, fireplace, and beautiful garden oasis. Only a 10-minute walk to the downtown. The yard and parking is shared with the Postmaster's House - nothing else is shared! *Please note: the interior space-saving staircase is steep and may not be suitable for all guests*

Note that access is down a flight of exterior stairs and unfortunately is not suited for individuals with mobility challenges.
