Our famed Wine Country Retreat is back online! (LTR for the last year) Take the back roads scenic drive 50mins up the hill from San Diego and enjoy some much needed quiet and comfy tranquility. Right in the heart of San Diego Wine Country, it’s a rather well appointed place situated on 10 private acres that overlooks expansive green space. With few neighbors in any direction, you can either sleep with the windows open and wake early to roosters crowing, or close the windows and sleep til Noon!

Nestled amongst the oak trees, off an old country road, sits Red Fox Retreat. An almost 2000sqft mountain home on over 5 acres of wilderness and garden. Secluded in the hills, but just a 7 minute drive from the historic town of Julian, an adventure awaits. Enjoy our expansive deck or relax in one of our many hammocks and listen to the sounds of nature. Too hot? Relax inside and enjoy the AIR CONDITIONING before you venture out, or when you return from your day of exploration. Pond is Dry.

Relax on the large 240 sq. ft. private deck featuring a fire pit, adirondack chairs and BBQ.

Studio granny flat w/full bath. Large windows front & back giving great natural light. Located at the end of a dead-end private drive. The 420 sq ft space includes a 65" HD TV w/DirectTV service, high speed wireless & wired internet, kitchenette w/convection cook microwave, fridge/freezer, w/many other extras. Unit was recently remodeled with new furniture. 1 Queen bed, dbl recliners, & dinette. (Also, the picture of the front of our property is not accurate - Airbnb uses Google photos 😕)
