The interior has been newly renovated to include modern fixtures and finishes to an open floor plan that maximizes the breathtaking views of Lake Superior. For epic panoramas of the lake head out to the yard for a hot cocoa by the bonfire, or a glass of wine at the charming deck on the bluff's edge. Or take the path down to the private beach featuring 280' of pebble and sand shoreline. Access to bike and hiking trails.

The cabin was recently completely renovated (Mar/April 2025)from log to log and is stocked with everything you'll need for your stay. It has all new appliances, furniture, fixtures, bathroom, cabinetry. 💚 It is the perfect homebase to relax after a long day of hiking Frog Bay, Houghton Falls, Lost Creek Falls, Meyers Beach, or shopping in nearby Bayfield, Washburn, or Cornucopia.

Mökki Kadunce River Cabin

The cabin is located next to the Kadunce River and directly across the highway from the shores of Lake Superior where the beach is a nice mix of sand and small pebbles. Perfect for your own private agate hunting, stargazing, catching a sunrise, or jumping in for an invigorating swim after your sauna. Nestled in mature spruce, this cozy timber and log cabin with wrap-around windows is surrounded by towering pines and a beautiful forest floor – keep an eye out for the deer as they stroll by.

Beacon Hill Haven: Rustic Lake Superior Retreat

Come enjoy simple living in a rustic, cozy cabin on Lake Superior with 180 degrees of unobstructed views. Directly off highway 61 with convenient access to hiking, biking, golfing, skiing and more. Placed along the gorgeous Fall River, this A-frame cabin has a secluded wilderness feel, just two miles from Grand Marais. Take advantage of Grand Marais' renowned restaurants, shops, and shoreline or relax by your river-side campfire after a day of exploration or relaxation. Enjoy the new sauna and off-grid shower house! Rest or catch up on a good book in the sun-filled and spacious interior, from a hammock between two birch trees, or on the large front deck surrounded by nature.

The Wandering Moose -Cabin Getaway, with Sauna!

This cabin was built for family gatherings and a recreational retreat and has been in the family for years. We offer a place to sleep 4 with a pull-out couch, full kitchen, bar area, dining table and a small bathroom with a shower and sink. We also have an outside hydrant to rinse off your equipment or clean your fish and game. Be on the lookout for Moose, Deer, Bear, Fox, Grouse, and many of birds and listen for an occasional Timber Wolf in the night. Trailer parking is onsite.
