Aboyne Cottage—Peaceful Oasis in Quiet Cul-De-Sac

Pluck lemons from the tree and pick herbs from the planters for use in a tasty dish to enjoy in the cool and shaded courtyard. The bright and airy cottage interior has high vaulted ceilings, together with a selection of books and magazines to read to enjoy in the bed made up with 400TC luxury linen. Battery backed up Wi-Fi and additional lights for surviving load shedding. No smoking allowed on property. Guests have own cottage with a private, shady courtyard. Herbs in planters in courtyard and dart board are available for guests to use as well as lemons on own lemon tree. We're an international family consisting of a South African, a New Zealander and a Norwegian. One of us will always be available on our phones and we're happy to chat and share a G&T on our porch if our guests are up for it! This guesthouse is in a quiet neighbourhood, about 15 minutes by car from town and near to vibrant Harfield. Closer still, the village offers a farm stall, butchery, and supermarket within a short walk, plus coffee shops and lots of restaurants. We always recommend uber for short term stays in Cape Town but there is an off-street sheltered parking available if needs be. 10 minute walk to Kenilworth train station and 2 minute walk from Main Road with frequent taxi buses in both directions. Servicing of cottage and laundry can be done on request. Continental breakfast can be provided on request.

Hideaway nestled between beach and mountain

This little studio apartment is in a beautiful garden setting on the lower mountain slopes of Muizenberg. It has a bedroom, bathroom, living room and small kitchen with a one-plate conduction stove, and other essentials. The Muizenberg surfing beach is a 10-15 minute walk away. Beautiful coastal and mountain walks are easily accessible, as are local shops, restaurants and cafes. The popular Bluebird neighbourhood market is a great place to sample locally made food, beers and wine on a Friday.

All yours: lounge, kitchen, work and eating area; TV with Netflix; large bedroom, en suite shower. No garden access. We welcome guests from all backgrounds.

Stylish beach cottage for 2 overlooking a lap pool on a lovely property in the quiet neighbourhood of Capri. Perfectly located close to Kommetjie, Noordhoek and Fish Hoek with magnificent sea views from the main house. A perfect place to rest your head and have a swim after exploring the beautiful sights all around. Comfortable beds with cotton bedding. The two single beds can be turned into a king size bed on request at the time of booking. No children under 12 years. No kitchenette.

On the mountainside overlooking Fish Hoek Beach, this apartment opens directly onto an indigenous garden and is ideal for couples or small families. Brightly decorated, the apartment features original artworks, a large balcony with hammock, barbeque and sea and mountain views. We have a solar panel system with back up storage to circumvent load-shedding. Free carport parking, wi fi and DSTV Compact is included, and there is a laundry service provided at reasonable prices.

Enjoy a peaceful stay surrounded by a green belt and mountains. Central to lots of activities such as hikes/walks, wine farms, local restaurants and shops. We have many pets on the property, 4 friendly dogs which is, 1 ridgeback, 1 Labrador and 2 medium mixed breeds, 3 cats and 2 bunnies. It is very family friendly, but also perfect for a relaxing getaway. There is parking on the premises. Regarding safety, we have a security guard on our road.

The Owl House - Mountainside bungalow, Muizenberg

Sleep in the trees in a unique retreat overlooking False Bay. Perched on the Muizenberg Mountain-side, the Owl House offers guests a unique garden stay with a distinct tree-house feel and is a short walk away from the buzz of Muizenberg village and its famous beachfront. The self-contained 30m2, solar-powered bungalow is separate from the main house, with a kitchenette, work and dining space, & uncapped fibre, making it perfect for WFH.

Separate entrance into private garden apartment. Spacious double bedroom with two single beds OR a King size by request, Full DSTV package and WIFI. En suite toilet/shower & basin. There is a fridge, microwave, stove and kettle in the lounge/kitchen area. Beautiful pool for guests enjoyment. Secure parking for average size vehicle behind automated gate.Unfortunately no pets allowed as I have two dogs.
