From the Hart Farm: Pisgah Room (Room #1 of 2)

My farm is 8 miles from Brevard and a 45 min. drive to downtown Asheville. I am nestled between Pisgah National Forest and Dupont State Forest, which means unlimited hiking, waterfalls, swimming, kayaking and fishing. Cyclers will enjoy being on one of the many routes, while mountain bikers can enjoy forest trails and challenge themselves to the Oskar Blues Reeb Ranch. Equestrian folks can avail themselves to our local horse boarders and ride in both forests. There is something for everyone!

Located within the Village of Historic Flat Rock, Tanglewood is a rare gem of Flat Rock history. Nestled on four wooded acres it is an authentic yet modernized log home. Our brand new tiny house is in the wonderful community of Simple Life Village. We purchased this little gem because of the fascination we’ve had with downsizing, simplifying and embracing life. Sundance Cottage is everything but bare bones, it has full size appliances, quartz countertops, TV and WiFi and a cozy inviting feel. Nestled in the village of Flat Rock, 10 minutes from Hendersonville, you will never be short of things to do, from hiking and biking to exploring historic sites.

Modern Studio near downtown

Welcome to our cozy studio complete with a private entrance. The kitchen is fully equipped with a full-size fridge, stove, microwave, and Keurig, and the king-size bed features a medium-firm mattress for a restful night's sleep. This studio is in our basement. You might hear our dogs or footsteps sometimes since our bedrooms are right above. We do our best to keep noise down, especially when we’re home. We can't wait to host you & making your stay as comfortable as possible!

Situated at the crest of the property, built high into the trees, the large covered deck offers immersion into the forest and glimpses of mountains beyond. Secluded mountain escape with blazing fast WIFI (gigabit fiber optic). I've been personally building this studio for 2 years, and can’t wait to share my vision and hard work with you. The space is located up 16 stairs in the carriage house. It's about a mile from Hendersonville's Historic Main Street and yet secluded on 2 acres in wooded Laurel Park. A public park with a pond, stream, pathway adjoin the property. 30-minute drive to Pisgah & DuPont Forests.

A cozy mountain cottage, the Byrd Box sleeps four!

Located in a quiet wooded neighborhood, the Byrd Box is a mile from our quaint downtown with shops, restaurants, and local pubs; a 20 minute drive from hiking trails, waterfalls, and apple orchards; and a short hour from the ski slopes! Come relax on our porch swing and enjoy the beautiful Blueridge Mountains. UPDATE: we recently added a fire pit patio area for your use. *Please note that our home is accessed via a short set of stairs.

Our recently restored cabin is located 15 minutes from downtown Hendersonville and 12 minutes from DuPont State Forest. This is a great home base for adventures in both Henderson and Transylvania counties. Beautifully decorated and thoughtfully appointed with everything you need for a relaxing getaway. A stay at our cabin is a great opportunity to enjoy rural life in Western NC. Pretty Place Chapel is about 35-40 minutes away.
