We are just 20 minutes from winter place, 30 minutes from the new river gorge and four minutes from Raleigh General hospital. Ideal place for skiers, rafters, or travel nurses. Inside has been newly renovated and includes 2br with queen beds, 1 full bath with onsite laundry and off street parking (until weather permits for driveway to be poured.) This is the sister property to Wild and Wonderful Westwood.

All linens & cookware provided, including coffee pot, coffee for your use and a few quick breakfast items. Back yard has a private sitting area with fire pit and small grill. Fire logs provided.

The nocturnal canvas comes alive with a stunning display of stars and luminescent fireflies in the summer. As dawn breaks, you may spot a bear or hear the gentle whisper of the creek where my grandmother used to frolic 90 years ago. Despite being in nature, you'll have access to a hot shower, a toilet, a mini-fridge, and a coffee maker.

Located just 1 mile from Winterplace Ski Resort and only 0.1 miles from I-77. Easy access to Beckley and New River Gorge National Park. A simple, relaxing place that feels like walking into grandmas house. While we allow pets they are not allowed in main living but in our attached garage.
