Enjoy your stay in this cozy apartment above our garage. The space is tucked away in the woods off Rabbit Creek with a private entrance and parking. This beautiful apartment has a fully equipped kitchen, an office space, internet and washer/dryer. It sleeps 4 comfortably and can fit 6 if you want to be very cozy. Grocery stores and restaurants are within a few minutes drive. We are within 10 minutes of Flat Top and other hiking spots and Hill Top Ski Area. We are 20 minutes from downtown.

The lower level of our Jewel Lake Home with a separate entry, and fun backyard. This is a recent remodel; an eclectic space with vintage wood ceilings and a blend of industrial+ modern detailing. We are 5 minute drive from the airport, and guests can enjoy Alaskan wilderness right from this space. A forested trail system lies right behind our house for walking and biking. Guests may collect eggs from our chickens, use our forest-side hot tub, stoke the firepit, or use paddle boards at Sand Lake.

Denali View! Sauna! 1 mile to Glen Alps/Flattop TH

Lone Pine Cottage is nestled against the Chugach State Park. Walk out the front door and explore the meadow of wildflowers below, or the forest next to the cottage which leads directly into the Chugach. The Glen Alps/Flattop Trailhead is 1 mile up the road and provides easy access to amazing hiking, mountain biking, snow shoeing, climbing, and skiing adventures. Enjoy the unobstructed views of Denali/Mt. McKinley, “Sleeping Lady” (Mount Susitna), and the Anchorage skyline from 1600ft elev.

If you're looking for a peaceful get-away just 15 minutes from the Anchorage airport, you found it! Our home is nestled in a quiet neighborhood with beautiful trees and a creek happily running right through the backyard. The apartment entrance is off your private patio with creekside hot tub. The decor is modern with a nod to rustic Alaska! It’s stocked with everything you need and we’re close to lots of restaurants and shopping, but we hope you feel “away from it all” at our Peaceful Creek!

We aim for you to feel as though you’re visiting family. The property features a spacious yard with a swing set & sandbox for kids. Pat may greet you on arrival & is always happy to share his love of Alaska & local insights. Guests enjoy fast Wi-Fi, convenient laundry access, & the chance to see local wildlife right outside the back door — moose (often with calves), ravens, Steller’s jays, squirrels, & on rare occasions, a bear. This cottage sits at the end of a quiet road just a 10 minute walk from downtown Hope, AK. The house is on 3 acres and has great sun on the deck. The cottage has heat and electricity. Bathroom includes hot shower, sink and toilet. Kitchen is fully furnished. Queen sized Bed is in loft up a steep staircase. Owners are next door and happy to answer questions, particularly about rafting Sixmile Creek, as Gareth is a guide for FlowAK. Be advised there is no gas station in Hope!

Nestled in a forest of Mountain Hemlocks hundreds of years old, the home is located in a quiet neighborhood only a 5-6 minute walk from the Glen Alps/Flattop Trailhead providing the most direct and easy access to Chugach State Park. There are endless possibilities for hiking, climbing, and skiing from the house. Or, if you prefer to sit and relax and read a book, the view from the deck or living room couch of the Anchorage skyline and Denali/Mt. McKinley is spectacular.
