Nestled in the beautiful hills of WV, this country home sits on approximately 189 acres and provides privacy people dream of. It is located within commuting distance of Stonewall Jackson Lake and Resort, Burnsville and Stonecoal Lakes. From the front porch, you can enjoy watching the wildlife crossing through the hayfields. You may see deer, black bears, wild turkeys, and even coyotes.

Sweet Country Cabin: Sandstone!

Remote and secluded, Sandstone sits on a hill that was the property’s quarry, where the old-timers split the mountain’s sandstone rocks to make the foundation stones for their cellar and house. Their excavation holes are visible from the cabin. We thought that was so cool, so we carved out a place for Sandstone too! This cabin is on a hill: a peaceful piece of WV heaven that will comfortably accommodate up to 4 memory-making guests! Furry friends welcome with $95 pet fee.

Driftwood Cabin in Almost Heaven, Hacker Valley WV

This two-bedroom cabin sits on the bank of the Holly River. Enjoy the peaceful sound of the river as you relax on the covered front porch. The cabin has an outside fire ring and a beautiful fireplace inside for those chillier days and nights. Driftwood Cabin is 2.25 miles from the entrance of Holly River State Park and 1 mile from Holly River Grocery. We have an abundance of fishing, hunting, hiking, horse trails, four-wheeler trails or simply kick back and read a book.

The New and Gauley Rivers offer incredible fishing and whitewater. For a scenic trip, Babcock State Park and the famous Glade Creek Grist Mill are just 30 miles away.

This cabin is newly built and hand crafted with timber right off of this very property. This is a 150 AC farm & bird hunting preserve. Relax in the hot tub, hike, bring your ATV’S/UTV’S - ride for miles down local backroads. Plenty of space to park your boat or trailer. Public lands nearby offer fishing, hunting, hiking, kayaking, etc. 20 minutes from the popular Stonewall Resort. (NO WIFI. AT&T & some other providers do have service)
