The famous Te Apiti Wind Farm of the Manawatu can be seen from most parts of the property, along with the picturesque hills, old sheds and lush vegetation. Not to mention, it's a bird's paradise. Nestled 20 minutes from Dannevirke in a quiet suburb with a domain in the backyard if you feel like a stroll and take in the view. You can grab a meal and mingle with the friendly locals at the Black Dog pub, a 5 minute walk down the road, open Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights, or stay and swing in the hammock, and cook on the BBQ if you prefer a quiet night in. Larger cities 1 hour drive away.
