Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Melsmere Lodge is a 2 bedroomed thatched cottage on the side of a private 1.5 acre lake and is surrounded by woodland and open countryside. The lake and woodland attract hundreds of species of birds and mammals. The lake itself is stocked with coarse fish. A little oasis of nature with easy links to local cities. Explore the wider Wirral area on the network of public footpaths or take a short train ride to the cities of Liverpool or Chester.

Our detached rural cottage is set in beautiful Welsh countryside with wonderful views adjoining the Wales link path. Ideal location for walking, exploring North Wales mountains, the historic city of Chester, Wrexham Football club. Convenient for Chester races or zoo, the International Eisteddfod in Llangollen or the World heritage site Pontcysyllte Aqueduct and canal. Fantastic mountain bike trail only 6 miles away. Welcome to our serene retreat nestled in the charming town of Caerwys, North Wales. This spacious 1 bedroom cottage, plus a sofa bed in the living room provides opportunity for up to 4 people to stay. It's a perfect blend of comfort and relaxation. Our property promises a delightful experience combining modern amenities with scenic surroundings for a tranquil getaway. Travel cot available; well behaved dogs are welcome. 2 pubs, 1 serving great food and 1 showing sports within walking distance.

Located in a peaceful rural hamlet, it's the perfect place to get away from it all, with country walks and cycles on your doorstep. Only a 20 minute drive from Chester and easily accessible for Manchester and Liverpool.

Bellan Barn

The barn was converted in 2016 to a luxury holiday let, decorated with modern and traditional touches. The barn is spacious and comfortable, with its own patio and shared use of the garden. The barn is next to our family home. We welcome families, business guests, walkers, couples and furry friends. The barn makes an ideal touring base for our local area, is within easy reach of great pubs and restaurants, theatres, market towns, plus the beaches/castles of Wales Coast/Snowdonia/Chester.

A quaint cottage, at Aston Hill Farm, Ewloe

This is a newly refurbished cottage, which was originally a farm workers cottage, on a dairy farm. It’s quaint and very nicely finished. The log burner makes the sitting room very cosy. The cottage is attached to a stable block, and forms a u-shape of out-buildings, including our carpentry workshop. The main farmhouse is close by, but separate. We have large gardens, which guest are welcome to use, including a barbecue and pizza oven. Rural location, but close to lots of amenities.

With a strong french influence this 1-bedroomed property is an ideal getaway for a romantic break and an excellent base to explore Cheshire, North Wales and the beautiful local countryside. Located beneath Bickerton Hill, Hope Cottage is set in a small rural village. The cottage is NOT suitable for children.
